2010
Neil graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and joined EAB as a Technician in Training. His willingness to learn and complete any task to the best of his ability was noticed by his superiors.
2011
Upon completion of the accelerated technician training course, Neil was qualified to pass the EAB pre test. After passing this test, he also successfully passed the AABC Technicians exam and became a certified Test and Balance Technician
2013
After leading several small projects with excellence, Neil was promoted to Project Supervisor. This promotion led the way to more complex projects allowing him to continue to hone his skills and leadership role.
2015
University of Texas Medical Branch Jennie Sealy Replacement Hospital in Galveston, Texas was the first complete hospital that Neil led. He was promoted to Project Coordinator and with the help of several supervisors and technicians, this impressive project was completed within a tight schedule.
2016
Neil was certified as a Test and Balance Engineer (TBE) by the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC).
2017
Taking initiative and gaining a positive reputation with clients allowed Neil to be promoted to Project Manager. He also became the primary contact for the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
2020
Neil was a key team member in the control system upgrade and reverification project at the Galveston National Laboratory high containment facility. Neil continues to assist the UTMB staff with all of their BSL and Animal Research Laboratories through annual verifications and continuous improvement projects.
Present
Neil continues his remarkable career at EAB as Project Manager with a focus on healthcare and critical research facilities in the Galveston area.

Which of these core values (Integrity, Quality, Consistency and Teamwork) do you most identify with, and what does it mean to you?

Integrity is the most important to me as an individual as well as a company value. In my opinion, there is a direct correlation between integrity and generating a quality product. A person with integrity will go the extra mile to ensure not only a quality product but also consistent performance that will reflect well on him personally and professionally. Without integrity, EAB would not be the premier test and balance contractor we are today.

What is your ideal room temperature, and why?

I prefer a room temperature of 71 degrees most of the time. This is warm enough that when not active I don’t get cold and cold enough that moderate activity doesn’t immediately make me sweat.

What is your absolute favorite thing about working for EAB?

Being in the field and interacting with others to solve difficult problems brings me the most satisfaction.

What did you want to be when you were little?

Much of my childhood I did not have a single dream job, but the one that stuck the most was firefighter. In college, I had the opportunity to volunteer for four years as a firefighter and greatly enjoyed it. This was a great experience giving me a good perspective on life and sympathy to those going through an emergency. While I have not chosen this as a career, I respect those who serve and put their lives in harm’s way every day.

What do you like to do on your days off?

I enjoy spending time with family when I am not working on a project in the garage. I love hunting during the fall as well as enjoying the shooting sports year-round.
