1994-1996
Business development and market analysis for an energy services and solutions company. The research resulted in their expansion into the northeastern region of the United States and then transforming them into a global enterprise with operations across six continents.
1996 – 2001
Technological support for industrial service and energy companies in the areas such as computer & application support, network security, and LAN administration. Significant projects included upgrading commercial high-rise buildings from token ring networking technology to ethernet and then subsequently Wi-Fi, along with projects from the turn of the millennium (1999-2000), and assisted with projects during the deregulation of the Texas electricity market.
2001-2018
This chapter in life began as a stay-at-home mother to a child with special needs, which led to a new purpose. Suzette fully embraced the lifestyle changes and passionately volunteered in various diverse organizations and in the independent school district to enhance many children’s learning experiences, giving them the skills to thrive.
2018 – 2024
After enjoying many fulfilling years as a stay-at-home mother, Suzette was offered a new opportunity to help develop EAB’s IT, Marketing, and Training departments. In the EAB IT department, Suzette evaluated the in-house software, assisted with the standardization of computer equipment, and helped to develop and initiate the corporate digital transformation. Within Marketing, Suzette developed and formalized the department and official corporate brand identity, assisted with the design and launch of the company website, and development of the social media channels. While overseeing and managing the projects within Marketing, Suzette, together with industry experts, began designing training curriculum for EAB Training. The first EAB Training class successfully took place in 2020. In response to industry demand, the EAB Training program broadened its course offerings into multiple curriculums, operating throughout the year, educating students worldwide.
2024 – Present
Due to the EAB Training program growth, Suzette transitioned full-time into the Training department as an Instructional Support Specialist focusing on curriculum development. Suzette designed and implemented the Training department’s SharePoint site and promoted an online collaboration platform. Suzette established and launched the EAB Learning Management System for internal staff as well as external customers. While managing various projects, Suzette collaborates with industry leaders to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate the EAB Training curriculum to enhance the learner experience and drive innovation.

More About

Which of these core values (Integrity, Quality, Consistency and Teamwork) do you most identify with, and what does it mean to you?

EAB’s core values are much like gears in a clock. Each one is important and serves a unique purpose for a greater goal other than itself. Integrity is about honesty and strong morals. Quality is about excellence. Consistency is being accurate and diligent no matter the conditions. Teamwork is about being effective, efficient, and having mutual respect for one another while working in unity. If I had to pick one it would be……. integrity. When one has integrity, they will perform to the best of their ability, resulting in excellence, accuracy, and respect.

What is your ideal room temperature, and why?

76 ˚F around 50% humidity. I was born and raised in South Texas; therefore, anything below 75 ˚F is cold to me and I need some humidity, or I feel like a fish out of water.

What is your absolute favorite thing about working for EAB?

THE PEOPLE!
EAB team members are sometimes placed in life-critical positions and they truly understand the meaning of teamwork, morals, and ethics. They run towards danger to save anyone on and off the job. It is in their character to help. EAB team members prioritize health and safety not just for themselves, but for everyone and everything. They are a blessing and we pray that God keeps them safe and healthy.

What did you want to be when you were little?

Nurse or drag car racer. I had and still have a passion for comforting people in their time of need. When I was younger, I also had a spicy desire for the adrenaline rush, too.

What do you like to do on your days off?

Family time and helping others, outside activities like rollerblading, playing with our Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs, and cooking.
