2005
Travis joined EAB as a TAB Technician in Training. His work experience prior to EAB for residential and commercial construction has proven advantageous in becoming a project leader.
2010
Travis was promoted to TAB Project Supervisor. During this time, Travis gained valuable knowledge and skills unique to the education industry, working with schools in the Houston area.
2013
Travis oversaw the 34-story Anadarko Petroleum project in 2013. This was one of his first largest projects where Travis learned a lot about his leadership skills, as well as, how to manage a fast-paced construction project with tight deadlines.
2014
Travis was promoted to TAB Project Coordinator. One of his first projects was Sheldon High School and Sheldon Stadium. Travis coordinated both projects simultaneously and worked to ensure that the facility and stadium met Sheldon ISD’s specific needs.
2017
Travis became a Certified Test and Balance Engineer (TBE) by the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC).
2021
Travis assumed the role of TAB Project Manager and currently oversees projects in Spring ISD, Tomball ISD, Klein ISD, Cy-Fair ISD, and Sheldon ISD.
Present
Travis is a valuable member of the EAB Safety Committee. His duties include lift training, PPE equipment inspections, first aid kit inspections, as well as, communicating safety updates at monthly EAB meetings.
Which of these core values (Integrity, Quality, Consistency and Teamwork) do you most identify with, and what does it mean to you?
Integrity will always be a vital piece of our business; it promotes trust to project team members and clients alike. Teamwork is a necessary part of every project I manage. I firmly believe that when everyone is working together as a team, the possibilities are endless.
What is your ideal room temperature, and why?
74°F is the perfect temperature if the humidity is below 55%.
What is your absolute favorite thing about working for EAB?
What did you want to be when you were little?
I have always been interested in the automotive industry, and I’ve always wanted to do something affiliated with racing.
What do you like to do on your days off?
I love working in my home garage on my countless projects, whether it be old cars or fabricating things from scratch.
