Last year, as we approached Christmas and the New Year, we acknowledged our feelings of uncertainty, doubt, and deep heartache amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year, we continue to feel the impacts of the pandemic both personally and professionally. Regulations and mandates have changed, causing frustrations. Supply chains across the globe have been seriously strained, leading to project delays. Some team members and their families continue to fight COVID-19, while others mourn the loss of loved ones.
While we are still not back to normal, we never lose hope because the God we serve is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We are reminded of this fact every year at Christmas because of Jesus’ birth so many years ago in Bethlehem. Billy Graham once said, “The very purpose of Christ’s coming into the world was that he might offer up his life as a sacrifice for the sins of men. He came to die. This is the heart of Christmas.”
It’s overwhelming to think of the love God has for us. As an all-powerful, loving, and perfect Father who created all things, He made the choice to send His perfect son to carry the weight of the world on His shoulders so that He may bring hope and salvation to all those who believe in Him. Hallelujah!
With all of this in mind, we are praying for you this coming season, whatever it may hold.
We hope this scripture brings encouragement to you in the coming year, Romans 8:24-25, “For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.”
