Spring is a season of new beginnings. Temperatures warm, the creatures that lay dormant in winter emerge from their hiding places, and new flowers bloom into their full glory. What a perfect time to celebrate Easter! The new beginnings of spring are a beautiful reminder of the new beginning that’s available to us each day because of Jesus.
God sent His only Son to walk this earth and to experience the same challenges and uncertainties that we face today. This means that Jesus is no stranger to living in a tumultuous world. His journey showed us how to live through life’s uncertainties, and through His sacrifice on the cross, He gave us the gift of a new, everlasting life (John 3:16) and a peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7). When we accept the peace that He offers us, it’s a gift that renews each day. As you celebrate the Easter story, we pray you find a new peace, and that you will find joy in knowing that Jesus chose to sacrifice for you.
