You Can Feel The Difference With Brian Moss

“The greatest experience throughout my career has come in the form of helping others. I believe in servant leadership and I have enjoyed mentoring young employees as they grow professionally, technically, and advance within EAB.” – Brian Moss

Brian’s Time at EAB

Brian became a Technician in Training in 1998 upon graduating from Stephen F. Austin University. He hit the ground running and gained valuable on-the-job experience with the expansion of the Presbyterian Hospital project.

Over the next 10 years, Brian grew in his technical knowledge and was able to gain experience in a variety of industries. His determination and drive did not go unnoticed, and in 2008, Brian earned his Test and Balance Engineer distinction and was promoted to the role of Project Manager.

Currently, Brian serves as a Senior Project Manager for the Dallas branch office. He is the primary point of contact for multiple school districts overseeing both major renovations and new construction, ensuring comfort for the first day of school.

Brian also oversees 3 multi-story office buildings in downtown Dallas including Trammell Crow Center, Ross Tower and the Galleria buildings.

Brian has maintained a strong relationship with Collin College which has led to EAB being awarded campus expansions in Frisco, Plano, Mckinney, Celina, Farmersville, Allen and Wylie.

As you might be able to tell, Brian is skilled in a variety of industries, has built lasting relationships with clients and provides impeccable leadership that truly makes you feel the difference.

Milestone Moments

Over the last 23 years, Brian has had many “series of firsts”, and many more memorable experiences and projects. Here are just a few of those significant projects:

The Parkview Hospital Project in Fort Wayne, Indiana was Brian’s most memorable project. Brian and three EAB teammates relocated to Indiana for a year to test and balance the 8-story tower combined with a 6 story Heart Hospital. Years later, Brian still appreciates the personal and professional growth he experienced on this project.

As a Project Manager, Brian led the team that performed the testing and balancing of Terminal A at Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport. During the duration of this project, extensive testing was performed to provide data related to system performance during HVAC equipment failure scenarios and ensured that the client received an optimum operating system.

In 2020, Brian and his team were asked to return to the Dallas/Ft Worth International Airport to support the Indoor Air Quality HVAC Improvement Projects. As part of the scope, the team tested 250 air handling units in 4 out of 5 of the Terminals for the airport.

More About Brian…

What is your absolute favorite thing about working for EAB?

Over the last twenty plus years, I have created close friendships with my teammates at EAB. Many of us have grown up together. We have been together from the onsets of our careers and personal lives from weddings to children. We are much like a family at EAB and have extraordinarily strong bonds.

What is your ideal room temperature, and why?

My ideal room temperature is the EXACT same “ideal” temperature as my wife. It must be because we are soul-mates….. or I have mastered conflict resolution….

Which of these core values (Integrity, Quality, Consistency and Teamwork) do you most identify with, and what does it mean to you?

Teamwork is most important to me because we all must help each other and do our part in order to be successful. In order for the large-scale projects to be successful, each team member must be willing to give their best effort. Also, while the major projects are going on, someone has to be responsible for the long-term clients that still need our services. We all play an important role and there is not one role more important than another.
