“My job consists of providing clarity to our clients and ensuring that they receive an optimum operating facility. We manage the project, keep them informed on discoveries we find, and provide solutions so they can focus on their business!” – Jordan Ourso
Jordan’s Time at EAB
Jordan began his career at Engineered Air Balance as a Commissioning Specialist after graduating from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering in 2015.
Over the course of his first five years at EAB, Jordan built a strong foundation for his career through the technical knowledge, and communication skills he gained from numerous projects.
In 2020, Jordan became a Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) through the AABC Commissioning Group (ACG). In the same year, Jordan transitioned into a Commissioning Coordinator role.
Jordan currently serves as a Commissioning Coordinator for Houston overseeing Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District projects. He is responsible for all K-12 commissioning projects EAB receives from Cy-Fair ISD. We are incredibly thankful for Jordan’s hard work and dedication. His commitment to provide an optimum operating facility for his clients truly makes you feel the difference. We are grateful to have you on our team, Jordan!
Milestone Moments
Here are just a few examples of Jordan’s milestone moments while working at EAB:
As a commissioning specialist on the Phillips 66 Headquarters project, Jordan worked closely with Josh Barnhart and Tate Stoneham to schedule activities between all parties involved to move this project to completion. This project is particularly notable because it is the largest commissioning project Jordan has worked on to date.
As a Houston project coordinator, Jordan currently leads the Cy-Fair ISD Visual Performing Arts Center project. This large performing arts center will allow the students of Cy-Fair ISD to perform for large audiences in a professional theater. This ongoing project is significant due to the unique systems and control sequences. Jordan is working closely with Cy-Fair ISD to deliver an optimum operating facility.
Another unique project Jordan currently leads is the Cy-Fair ISD Admin Building project. The Admin Building will act as a “communication hub” and emergency response headquarters for CyFair ISD. Jordan is honored to lead such an important project.
More About Jordan..
What is your absolute favorite thing about working for EAB?
Working for EAB means that you will likely learn something new every day… this is something I have really come to appreciate about working for EAB.
Which of these core values (Integrity, Quality, Consistency and Teamwork) do you most identify with, and what does it mean to you?
Integrity. If there is an issue, our job is not to “sugar-coat” it. You can truly feel the difference in our team because we are dedicated to honesty and transparency, and we have the integrity tell our clients the truth, and come alongside them to provide a solution.
What did you want to be when you were little?
I wanted to be an architect. As an adult, I spent time shadowing architects and realized that I wanted to problem-solve instead. This lead to a career that I believe I’m much better suited for.
