Kevin’s History at EAB
Kevin Underwood has been a fixture at Engineered Air Balance for over 27 years and currently serves as President and Dallas Branch Manager.
Kevin worked part-time for the firm from 1987 through 1994 while attending high school and college. After graduating from the University of North Texas in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in science and industrial technology he joined the firm as a Technician in Training.
Kevin’s Professional Experience and Milestone Projects
Over the course of his career, Kevin has gained extensive experience as a Project Supervisor and Coordinator with many of the large Dallas area school districts paving the way for EAB’s ongoing ISD partnerships. After developing the skills required for systems within K-12, healthcare, semi-conductor facilities and hotels Kevin was certified as a Test and Balance Engineer (TBE) by the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) in 2005.
Kevin has led many successful projects over the years at EAB including the total system balance of the expansion of the Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, the Methodist Hospital for Surgery in Addison, and the Parkview Regional Hospital project in Indiana.

Kevin was named President of Engineered Air Balance April 1, 2020, after serving as a Vice President for several years, and oversees the Headquarters in Dallas, Texas. Kevin Underwood embodies the EAB Core values of integrity, quality, consistency and teamwork and the leadership skills to lead EAB into the future.

Integrity is paramount. Without integrity, EAB would not have become the industry leader we are today.
What is your ideal room temperature, and why?
68 degrees, I would rather add layers than sweat it out.
What is your absolute favorite thing about working for EAB?
Above all, I appreciate the level of care shown for each team member and their family.
