A Note From Bill:
The most often requested training is controls. I believe this is due to the lack of controls training needed to understand building automation temperature controls. EAB Training Center heavily invested in addressing this need.
EAB is a proponent of Total System Balancing that includes verifying building controls. The EAB Training Center captured this controls knowledge in a form suitable for a broad range of students.
The construction manager’s course provides students an HVAC Introduction that explains how systems work. The session is followed by four hours of hands-on controls verification of a working HVAC system. The student evaluations are very positive for this entertaining session.
The Control System Verification class is designed for TAB professionals, but anyone wanting an understanding of most types of analog inputs, analog outputs, binary inputs, binary outputs and programming should attend. Using hands on trainers, students set up and troubleshoot the devices. EAB Houston’s Branch Manager, Justin Gardner teaches the class along with EAB’s lab manager, Spencer Kelley and EAB CxP Daniel Garcia who has field controls experience. Students can expect to achieve a high level of knowledge from this exceptional group of instructors and course content.
